1-2-1 ADOLESCENT & ADULT DOG TRAINING

My Approach Whilst I believe there is always a place for well-organised, traditional style group training classes, all of my services are provided on a 1-2-1 basis. By concentrating just on you and your dog during the Session, I can achieve much more in each training session and help your dog progress far quicker.
 
There can be many reasons for wanting help with training your dog, including them not having had the best start in life.


 
I understand how embarrassing it can be when your dog appears to ignore you in the park, and how frustrating (and painful!) it can be when your dog pulls incessantly on their lead.
 
Or perhaps you have already reached a good level of basic training but want to take things to the next level, or learn some tricks.

Our first session will last 60-75 minutes and we'll spend some time understanding your dog's learning history, what day-to-day life looks like for you and your dog, and the specific help you need. We'll then get going with the training! 
 
Note: These Training Sessions are not suitable for dogs with behavioural issues such as separation-related behaviours, noise sensitivities, guarding behaviours or reactivity towards other dogs or humans. These will require a Behaviour Consultation and related support.
Dog Training Session – What's Included?Here’s what’s included in an initial Dog Training Session with me:
  1. Discovery Call
    15 minute free pre-Training Session call
  2. Dog history
    You'll complete a Training Consultation Form to enable me to understand more about your dog, their learning history and key details to help me tailor the training for you and your dog.
  3. Session Preparation
    I will send you an outline plan for our Training Session including any equipment you need to bring and handy hints for making the session super enjoyable for your dog.
  4. Initial Training Session
    A 60-75 minute training session (in person where possible or by Zoom) tailored to you and your dog, which explains step-by-step how to achieve your training objectives. Where you have more than one objective, this may require additional Training Sessions.
  5. Follow-Up
    I will send you a reminder of the steps covered in your Training Session.
Additional Training SessionsFollow-up 60 minute 1-2-1 Adolescent & Adult Dog Training Sessions are available. This could be to further practice what we covered in our First Training Session, or to help with additional training challenges. If I need to travel more than 5 miles (each way) from my home for any Session, then an additional Travel Charge will apply.
